In the beginning was the word.

Nothing else, but God’s word, a plan!

A plan for peace, but an opportunity for conflict.
A plan for hope, but an opportunity for despair.
A plan for joy, but an opportunity for sadness.
A plan for love but an opportunity for hate.

In the beginning was the word.

But what, for us, is the beginning?

A birth?
A new year?
A new month?
A new day?
A new hour?

Or is our beginning, a new opportunity?

A new home?
A new school or job?
A new hobby or interest?
A new relationship?

Or is our beginning so small, we hardly notice it?

In the beginning, all our beginnings, is the word.

In the beginning, all our beginnings, is God’s plan.

A peaceful plan.
A hopeful plan.
A joyful plan.
A loving plan.
