(Written August, 2018)
I am walking with the love of God –
It’s all I need at this moment.
I shouldn’t be afraid of the stillness –
for I notice the companionship of God.
It’s all I need at this moment –
stillness even when there is movement.
I notice the companionship with God –
It’s such a wonderful moment.
Stillness even when there is movement –
I shouldn’t be afraid of the stillness.
It’s such a wonderful moment,
as I am walking with the love of God.
This was written after a day walking alone in the Glen Esk Valley in Angus whilst on a silent retreat. The word “walking” could be substituted with another action word.
